The Brunch Cocktail


Bacon infused gin ingredients:

1L gin

1 package bacon

Cocktail ingredients:

1 1/2 oz bacon infused gin

1 oz fresh egg white

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

1/2 oz Torani Ruby Red Grapefruit Syrup


Garnish: Slice of bacon


Bacon Infused Gin Instructions
Slow cook bacon until fully cooked. Transfer gin to an open-mouth jar. Add the cooked bacon & grease to the gin (remember to reserve a few slices for garnish). Cover the jar and let it sit for 6 to 10 hours. Remove bacon pieces and then transfer the jar into your freezer long enough to allow the bacon fat to solidify (we left ours overnight). Remove "fat cap" that has formed on top of the gin using a spoon. Using a second open-mouth jar, place a coffee filter on top (you can secure it with a rubber band) and strain the remaining gin through the filter to remove any leftover bits.
The Brunch Cocktail Instructions
Add all cocktail ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until cocktail is ice cold and frothy. Pour into glass. Garnish, serve and enjoy!
