English Toffee Waffle


2 cups flour

1 Tbsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

2 eggs, separated

1-1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup Torani English Toffee syrup

6 Tbsp. butter, melted


Preheat a waffle iron. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Combine the egg yolks, milk, syrup, and butter and whisk into the flour mixture just until smooth. Beat the egg whites to soft peaks and fold into the batter. Pour the batter into the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer’s directions. Serve this waffle warm with Fresh Berry Compote (See recipe).
