Teapot Cottage Peach Trifle


2 packaged pound cake mixes (ingredients to make 2 loaf pans)

1 can sweetened condensed milk + 1 cup cold water

1 package vanilla instant pudding mix

2 cups whipping cream

1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. Torani Peach syrup

7-8 peaches - sliced

1 cup sliced almonds


Click "Print" to view all instructions... Mash 5 peaches in food processor, reserve others for topping. Make two pound cakes according to package directions in large loaf pans. Cool and freeze. Remove when frozen and cut into 1\" cubes. In a large mixing bowl, mix water with condensed milk and stir until blended. Add pudding mix and beat mixture until. Add 2 Tbsp. Torani syrup. Whip cream and fold into pudding mixture. Place 1/3 pudding mixture in bottom of trifle bowl. Place half of the cake cubes on top. Pour 1/4 cup Torani syrup over cake cubes. Layer peach slices along bowl sides. Place layer of mashed peaches on top of cake cubes and sprinkle with almond. Repeat another layer of pudding mixture, cake cubes and syrup. Add another layer of peaches along top and sides; sprinkle with almonds. Cover top with remaining pudding/whipped cream mixture. Garnish with peaches and almonds. Keep chilled until serving.
