Big Moments & Bold Flavors: Torani's 2026 So Far

If the first half of 2026 has taught us anything, it's that flavor has an incredible way of bringing people together.
From meeting thousands of flavor fans across the country to watching drink personalization continue to take off, it's been an exciting past few months at Torani. Along the way, we've also celebrated milestones that reflect who we are as a company: creating opportunity, staying curious, and helping people discover new ways to make everyday drinks a little more joyful.
Here's a look back at a few press release highlights from the first half of the year.
Growing with Purpose
In March, we shared an exciting company update: Torani is on pace to reach a major growth milestone ahead of schedule while continuing to invest in our people and manufacturing operations.
How we approach growth matters deeply to us. This press release highlighted our continued commitment to creating opportunity through workforce development, employee ownership, and long-term investment in our Bay Area operations.
As a company that has been around for more than 100 years, we're proud that growth and opportunity continue to go hand in hand. We believe businesses can create lasting success while prioritizing stability, learning, and meaningful careers for the people who make shared success possible.
Taking Flavor on the Road with the Treat Truck
In April, we announced the launch of our second nationwide Treat Truck tour, an interactive pop-up experience designed to celebrate flavor discovery and highlight how consumers are personalizing beverages today.
The Treat Truck has been one of our favorite projects of the year because it allows us to meet and interact with the people who inspire us most: flavor fans. Guests discovered their personalized flavor match, created custom beverages, sampled new recipes, won fun prizes and shared their favorite flavors through our first “Flavor Tip Line”.
What began as an interactive pop-up tour has grown into a valuable opportunity to connect with consumers and uncover emerging flavor trends. Every stop gives us a better understanding of how flavor preferences vary across cities, communities, and occasions. Whether someone loves iced coffee, sparkling refreshers, or the latest dirty soda combination, we're constantly learning from the creativity we see on the road.
Dirty Soda Goes Mainstream
In June, we released new research showing just how quickly dirty soda has become a nationwide beverage phenomenon.
What we found was exciting, yet not entirely surprising. More consumers are looking for drinks that feel personal, creative, and customizable. Awareness of dirty soda continues to grow, and people are increasingly experimenting with various flavor combinations both at drive-thrus and at home.
We're seeing strong interest in classic favorites like vanilla, coconut, cherry, and peach, along with growing excitement around tropical and dessert-inspired flavors such as guava, passion fruit, caramel, and one of our newest launches, Cookie Butter!
For us, the bigger story is that dirty soda reflects a broader shift in beverage culture. People want drinks that fit their mood, routine, and personality. Flavor has become a means to make everyday moments feel a little more special.
The Flavor Trends We're Watching
Across all three announcements in 2026, a few themes stood out:
- Personalization is becoming the norm. Consumers are looking for drinks that they can customize and make their own.
- Flavor experimentation is everywhere. From coffee and matcha to soda and refreshers, people are mixing flavors in creative, unexpected ways.
- Convenience matters. At-home drink creation continues to grow, but consumers are looking for quick, easy ways to enjoy café-worthy beverages that fit seamlessly into their busy routines.
- Nostalgic and indulgent flavors have returned. Dessert-inspired profiles and familiar comfort flavors continue to resonate across beverage categories.
Looking Ahead
As we move into the second half of 2026, we're grateful for the momentum, conversations, and creativity we've seen so far this year.
Whether you've visited the Treat Truck, tried a new dirty soda recipe, experimented with a new syrup flavor, or simply made your favorite drink at home, thank you for being part of the Torani community.
We're excited to keep listening, innovating, and bringing more flavor to everyday moments. Here's to a strong second half of the year!
