Sweet Cinnamon Milk Tea

sweet cinnamon milk teas
Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons of Torani Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup
  • 2 cups of water
  • 3 Green tea bag
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1-2 Star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Cinnamon powder for garnish
Instructions
Bring 2 cups of the water, star anise, and cinnamon stick to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.  Turn the heat off and add the tea bags in the water. Seep for 5-7 minutes. In another saucepan, bring the whole milk, Torani Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup to a boil. Keep a close watch so that it doesn't boil over.  Remove the tea bags, the star anise and cinnamon stick from the tea.  Pour the tea over the boiling milk and whisk well. Remove from the heat and serve hot with some cinnamon powder over it.  *Bonus to get that lovely froth on your tea, use a milk frother and mix away until the desired frothiness (is that a word?)
