Sustainability practice brings to life the caring, connection and ingenuity that is Torani. Our newly launched Sustainability initiative refreshes our many green practices already in place and focuses on new opportunities. Our commitments:

Torani has been caring deeply for people since the first bottle of syrup left our building in 1925. We treat others as we like to be treated. Our colleagues and partners are like family. We consider the earth our home. Quite simply, at Torani, we believe doing good for our business and doing good for the world go hand-in-hand.

GOOD STUFF ALREADY COMING ON

The iconic Torani glass bottles are 100% recyclable and made with a minimum of 40% recycled content. Torani product packaging is recyclable, often made with recycled content, and in facilities committed to sustainable practice.

OUR MOST RECENT PROJECT

Our first carbon footprint assessment was recently completed. We teamed with an independent, national energy consulting company
+ applied the World Resource Institute GHG Corporate Standard – a globally-recognized standard that inventories greenhouse gas impact.

Great news! Torani has a modest carbon footprint. One key learning - electricity is the biggest opportunity to reduce our energy use and therefore greenhouse gas emissions.

WHAT'S NEXT?

This year, we’re installing energy-efficient lighting throughout our plant to reduce energy use and our carbon footprint impact. Stay tuned for further news about Torani carbon footprint reduction.
