Torani On The Food Network's Unwrapped
The Food Network Stops by Torani Headquarters to Learn More About Torani's Toastiest Flavor
November 20, 2008
Have you ever watched Unwrapped? It’s a super-popular TV show on the Food Network that uncovers behind-the-scenes details on classic American food? Over a million people around the world tune in each week to watch it and soon, Torani will be featured!
A film crew from Unwrapped recently visited Torani headquarters as part of their segment on marshmallows. Torani Toasted Marshmallow syrup was the star of the day as the crew filmed everything from the formulation and mixing and blending process, to bottling and labeling of this soothing Torani flavor.
Highlights of the day included a step-by-step overview of Torani’s flavor development process in the Torani lab led by Senior Scientist, Domenico Milano. You might recognize Domenico from the new flavor segments that have been appearing on the homepage of www.torani.com in recent months. With all of his recent video work, we can only hope Domenico does not leave his current role of crafting delicious Torani flavors to pursue a career in acting!
We also learned that you could fit many more Torani-ites than you might imagine in an enclosed space, but you will have to watch the segment to decipher that statement.
The Food Network expects to air the show in early 2009, and keep an eye on www.torani.com for information about the exact airing date.
