Born in Okemah, Oklahoma, Woodrow Wilson Guthrie spent his life traveling around the United States by train, singing sounds about what he saw and meeting people and listening to their stories. He wrote countless classic American Folk songs including, "This Land is Your Land," "Hard Traveling" and "Union Maid."
